Information About DHA ELC

DHA Early Learning Centre (DHA ELC) is a well-established private institution with over twenty-four years of educational service in DHA Karachi Phase 8, conveniently located next to Imtiaz Store and Nueplex. The school caters to learners from Nursery to O Levels and has consistently retained the trust of its parent community, including throughout the challenges of the Covid period.

As a future-ready school, DHA ELC blends its strong academic tradition with contemporary educational practices. Its academic pathway prepares students for the University of Cambridge O Level examinations, providing a strong foundation for Advanced Level studies. At the same time, the school actively promotes active learning pedagogies, encouraging inquiry, collaboration, and student voice in the classroom.

Teaching and learning at DHA ELC are guided by a holistic philosophy that integrates assessment for, of, and as learning, ensuring that evaluation meaningfully supports student growth. The curriculum is enriched with a strong focus on social-emotional learning (SEL), metacognitive development, and the cultivation of confident, reflective, and responsible learners. The aim is not only academic readiness but the development of adaptable, ethical, and self-aware individuals prepared for the demands of the 21st century.

The faculty comprises loyal and committed educators, many of whom have served the school community for over fifteen years. This continuity ensures institutional stability while ongoing professional development keeps teaching practices aligned with modern educational research and innovation. One distinguished teacher has been with the school since its inception, guiding generations of young learners.

The school’s location supports safety, accessibility, and a clean, secure environment, with ample parking and smooth entry and exit for families. DHA ELC also takes pride in maintaining a highly competitive fee structure, positioning itself as a high-value educational choice for families seeking quality without undue financial strain. In today’s challenging economic climate, it stands as a practical and reassuring option for quality education.

The Principal and staff welcome visitors from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Parents are encouraged to visit the campus, meet the team, and experience firsthand the learning environment DHA ELC offers.

DHA ELC looks forward to continuing its partnership with parents and nurturing confident, compassionate, and future-ready learners.

DHA ELC’s academic focus remains on preparation for the University of Cambridge O Level examinations, which takes students into the Advanced Level program of University of Cambridge.

The philosophy that guides the teaching and learning at DHA ELC, is that a strong base prepares children for higher level academics where confidence, conduct, supportive attitudes, respect for others, academic discipline and healthy habits are essential traits for success in later life. The faculty consists of loyal and committed teachers, most of whom have been with school for over fifteen years and more. One outstanding teacher has been with the school since its inception and has seen generations of small children through their learning and growth. The school’s location is nothing less than ideal, ensuring safety, security, approachability, a clean environment, plenty of parking spaces and stress-free entry and exit for both students and parents.

DHA ELC can proudly proclaim that it is one of the most economically attractive institutions because of its extremely competitive fee structure. In today’s financially challenged world it presents itself as a beacon of hope to everyone looking for education for their children that does not burden them beyond their capacity. So “WHY PAY MORE” when your child can get the best he or she deserves without constant financial stress.

The Principal and Staff are there to welcome all visitors between 9.00 to 1.00 five days of the week i.e. Monday to Friday. Parents are encouraged to make enquiries, visit the premises and satisfy themselves about the educational services being provided.

Consultant’s Message

It is both an honour and a professional commitment to support DHA Early Learning Centre on its journey toward sustained school excellence. Over the past three decades, I have had the privilege of serving in diverse educational leadership roles—including Principal at Habib Public School and College, Director of Studies at Karachi Grammar School, Deputy Headmistress at Blessings Public School, and currently as Chief Consultant at Ainee Shehzad Educational Consultancy and an Accredited Cambridge Trainer. These experiences across leading institutions in Pakistan have strengthened my conviction that meaningful school improvement is driven by clarity of vision, instructional rigour, and an unwavering focus on the whole child.

DHA ELC today stands as a purposeful and forward-looking learning community. The school has demonstrated commendable progress in aligning its academic and pastoral practices with internationally benchmarked standards drawn from the UK National Curriculum and the Cambridge pathway. What is particularly noteworthy is the school’s balanced emphasis on strong academic foundations alongside active learning, assessment for/of/as learning, social-emotional development, and metacognitive growth—key markers of high-performing schools of excellence.

The leadership and faculty at DHA ELC are to be appreciated for the seriousness with which they are strengthening classroom practice, nurturing a positive learning culture, and investing in continuous professional growth. The school’s commitment to student-centred learning, inclusive practices, and the thoughtful integration of co-curricular programmes reflects a clear understanding of what future-ready education demands.

Importantly, DHA ELC is not standing still. It is a school that is intentionally evolving—building stronger curriculum coherence, enhancing assessment literacy, and expanding pathways that will further benefit its learners. This mindset of reflective growth and disciplined improvement is what distinguishes good schools from truly excellent ones.

With sustained focus, strategic capacity-building, and the continued partnership of its dedicated community, DHA ELC is well positioned to consolidate its strengths and emerge as a leading centre of educational excellence in the years ahead. I am confident that the school is not only serving its students well today but is trailblazing a path toward an even more impactful and distinguished future.

I remain committed to supporting the Board, Principal, and faculty in this important journey of continuous improvement and educational innovation.

Junior Academic’s Message

At DHA ELC School, we believe that education should develop the ability to think independently, ask questions, and engage meaningfully with the world. The Junior Section provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment in which students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and personally.

Our approach to teaching is student-centered and designed to help each child build strong foundations in knowledge, skills, and character. We aim to develop confident learners who are motivated to achieve their best while learning to work cooperatively and responsibly within the school community.

Students are given regular opportunities to participate in inter-class, inter-house, and inter-school activities, allowing them to explore their interests, develop their talents, and build confidence. These experiences contribute to the development of well-rounded individuals with positive attitudes towards learning and achievement.

We place strong emphasis on the well-being and personal development of every child. A positive school environment, supported by guidance and counselling, helps students develop confidence, responsibility, and respect for others.

In keeping with the demands of a modern learning environment, DHA ELC provides well-equipped classrooms, computer-based learning opportunities, and ongoing professional development for teachers to ensure effective teaching and continuous improvement.

We believe that education is most successful when there is a strong partnership between school and home. By working together, teachers and parents create a stable and supportive framework for each child’s growth and success.
